The Adiathermic Power Meter (PA) characterises the thermal resistance and the heat retaining properties of different materials used in the textile industry (clothing, health, military, etc.).

It is an easy to use classification tool and can be used to test all types of cover-up clothing. The Adiathermic Power (%) is measured in relation to the electric power needed to maintain a constant gap between the interior of the sample (hollow cylinder) and the exterior (interior of the measuring chamber).
