This machine is ideal for determining the abrasion resistance of all types of fabrics and leather used for footwear, upholstery, clothing, gloves and many other products. The Martindale method is the international benchmark for wear fabrics. Evaluation of resistance to pilling is also possible on Martindale (optional).

Martindale can also be used to test the abrasion resistance of rubber gloves, plastic and rubberized fabrics by substituting standard with abrasive grit.

Many accessories are available (abrasion socks, EN 388, and others on request).

3 versions available: 2, 4 or 6 positions.
