B.T.W. polyurethane ends
The Services department of Matériau Ingénierie offers for sale batch of 4 PUR tips corresponding to the tests described in PSA D44 1237 standard.
This standard allows to study the abrasion resistance of textile floor coverings according to the B.T.W. (Blocking Tetrapode Walker) method. Concretely, the inner wall of a cylindrical box is covered with a textile floor covering. A mobile tetrapode is placed in the cylindrical box which rotates on its axis at a constant speed. The hammering of the tetrapod produces an abrasion of the textile floor covering. Once the number of cycles defined in the standard reached, the test stops and the textile is analyzed visually.
In this test, the tetrapod being the central element, its mass and its structure are defined. Its frame is made of stainless steel and equipped with 4 polyurethane tips of shore A hardness equal to 77 ± 3.
These tips are consumables. Indeed, they must be regularly examined for any deterioration or change in hardness. If this is the case, they must be replaced.
We are offering these consumables packaged in batches of 4 tips delivered with a certificate of conformity. To obtain a quote, please contact our sale department stating the product reference : S101-08 PUR tips for tetrapod.
