New "6 stations" HDT/Vicat

We are proud to announce the commercialization of our new HDT / Vicat model: HDT 6PA. This model is equipped with fully automated measuring stations. Connected to a PC, the control of the device, the acquisition and the processing of the data are carried out via software.

The HDT 6PA model is equipped with an LVDT (precision 1 μm) for each station and a PT100 probe (accuracy 0.1°C). The punches and weights are interchangeable so that the device meets the different HDT and Vicat methods of the NF EN ISO 306 standard.

The temperature rise is carried out in a bath of silicone oil to carry out tests up to 300°C. In addition, a running water cooling system reduces the waiting time between two tests.

Finally, the safety of users has been carefully considered. A system thus makes it possible to limit the risks of jamming by forcing the user to place his two hands on either side of the HDT so that the descent of the six stations can function.
